Elizabeth is a Georgia native, born and raised in Tifton. From a very early age she enjoyed a multitude of creative pursuits, from writing novels to painting. Her eye for composition soon turned into a love for photography when, for her 8th birthday, she received her very first film camera. As she toted her camera around everywhere, taking photos of her pets and family members, a love for photography was born.

Fast forward to 2013, Elizabeth fell in love with a young man from her church, and they got married in a fever. They say "when you know, you know", and she knew he was the one God had for her. Together they've been blessed with four beautiful children--Hudson (9), Ford (7), Trent (6), and Claire (1).

In time, the camera got dusted off to document Elizabeth's children as they grew, and it wasn't long before friends were asking her to take their photos too. By 2019, Elizabeth Godwin Photography was born, and it's grown bigger and bigger every year.

Elizabeth now specializes in capturing love stories across Georgia, North Florida, South Carolina, and beyond. Her experience is defined by her fine art style of imagery and laid-back personality that always sets her clients at ease. She puts her full self into each project she takes on.
