I believe in transparency of pricing out of respect for your time. My beginning wedding photography package includes 8 hours of coverage and much more, with an investment point of $4,600. My average engagement session gallery includes a minimum of 100 photos. My average full-day wedding gallery can range from 800-1500 images, and sometimes above that number. The number of photos delivered is dependent on how many events and details characterized the day. Each image that makes it to your final gallery is carefully curated and hand-edited to ensure the highest quality. 

I never shoot a wedding day alone! Team work makes the dream work. Your final gallery will be a collaborative effort of myself and my team. My team always includes a competent, kind, and professional second photographer to capture other angles and events taking place throughout the day, freeing me up to direct your portraits and ensure we don't miss a thing. For some weddings I also hire an assistant if I feel one is needed. You can rest assured that anyone on my team has been thoroughly evaluated to increase the value of your experience and align with the values that Elizabeth Godwin Photography is well reputed for. 

Members of my team are paid by myself, and this is never an additional expense passed on to my couple.

I can travel up to 2.5 hours from Valdosta without a travel fee, but I'm always excited to travel further! For weddings further 2-5 hours away, I include a travel fee of $350 to cover gas, on-the-road meals, and a hotel room for the night. Travel fees are calculated on a case-by-case basis, but this is always my starting point. 

For engagement sessions, I'm also down to drive wherever your love story takes us. If the location is greater than 2.5 hours from Valdosta then I do my best to sync your engagement session date with a time I will already be traveling near your desired location. As a principle, I just don't like charging my couples for travel if at all possible! You'll find I'm very flexible and excited for an adventure. 

Absolutely! I'll never leave you wondering what to do with your hands or where to stand. I would venture to say that 95% of my couples tell me they're "not good at taking photos" and "don't know what to do"--I always assure them that they're better than they think! Here's the secret: when couples are at ease and having fun together, this is when the best photos happen. Think of it like a date! I'll offer gentle guidance and help you feel comfortable in front of the camera, and you'll discover a hidden talent for modeling that you never knew you had.

The best thing is when I hear a groom say, "that was actually really fun!" after their engagement session or wedding portraits. 

Yes, I require 30% of your package's total investment amount upon signing the contract. This reserves your date on my calendar. As for the remaining balance, I am very flexible with when and how my couples choose to cover this. Some prefer to pay in installments, others pay the full balance the week of the wedding.
